Shortly after In Touch exclusively revealed that George Clooney’s wife, Amal, is pregnant with twins, a source says their dream came true thanks to IVF!
“They had been trying for a baby all summer and it just wasn’t happening, so they sought the help of a fertility doctor and started in vitro fertilization,” the source tells In Touch, exclusively.
The decision to turn to IVF wasn’t an easy one — especially because of 38-year-old Amal’s fear of needles.
“George has never had trouble doing anything is his life,” the source adds. “Plus, Amal is afraid of needles, so her biggest fear was getting the hormone injections.”
But all their anxieties about the process will be worth it when they have their babies — a boy and a girl — in their arms.
“They’re having so much fun looking at all the latest baby gadgets and getting everything ready for the twins,” the source tells In Touch. “They’re going to be such amazing parents!”
As In Touch previously reported, the parents-to-be cannot be more excited for their little bundles of joy to arrive (Amal is said to be around four months along).
“Amal is pregnant with twins: a boy and a girl. When George and Amal found out it was twins, they were surprised but also a little scared because they both had said one was enough,” the insider tells In Touch. “But the news that it was a boy and a girl made them both really happy. They feel like they’ve hit the family jackpot.”
