EL- RUFAI WORRIED THAT GOD WILL QUESTION HIM ABOUT SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS


The Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has disclosed that his administration inherited the crisis in the southern part of the state, stressing that he is worried about the situation because God will ask him the role he played in ending the killings in Southern Kaduna.


In an interview with the Hausa service of the Voice of America, VOA, he stated that his government had been working very hard to tackle the problem, but regretted that some politicians had been exploiting the situation.

Recall that barely a day after the Governor launched a public apology billboard signifying understanding, peace and unity among the various ethnic groups in Southern Kaduna, about 31 people were reported killed by unknown gunmen in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Students of College of Education, Gidan Waya in Jema’a local government area of Kaduna State had recently vacated the school following renewed attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Southern Kaduna which led to the death of unspecified number of persons.
