Chrissy Teigen might be the greatest friend of all time. When the author and TV show host was asked about her thoughts concerning another celeb’s possible use of surrogacy during a recent interview, Teigen said she would be Kim Kardashian West’s surrogate “in a heartbeat.”
In a recent Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, Mrs. Kardashian West discussed the possibility of a third child via a surrogate pregnancy. She suffered with medical issues during her first two pregnancies and is not sure if her body can handle the stress of a pregnancy again. The Kardashian family doctor has also warned her that her previous issue with placenta accreta could come back again and put her life at risk.
The episode also showed Kardashian West’s conversation with a woman who has been a surrogate and she revealed her fears of loving her third child less if she doesn’t go through the birth process. In the end, she decided to continue to explore the surrogacy route for her family.
Luckily, she has Teigen’s offer to help ease some of her fears of finding the right surrogate mom. The new mom of 7-month-old Luna can relate to Kardashian West’s pregnancy struggles – she had to go through in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive her daughter. And, there’s no better person for Kardashian West to trust her child with than her own friend. -Frisky
