NSA Monguno was indicted over #DasukiGate for collecting various sums of money from the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki. The panel found tangible evidence indicting Monguno haven tremendously benefitted from #DasukiGate. A member of the panel told LeadersNG that Monguno collected hundreds of millions of naira from Sambo Dasuki at different times in the guise of carrying out one assignment or the other and also got some contracts from ONSA.

A presidential source has also corroborated this by saying the president has spoken with NSA Monguno on this and he Monguno has not denied the allegations that he collected money from Dasuki.
The panel also indicted the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazzau and ten others for all kinds of corrupt practices running into billions of Naira when he was Chief of Army Staff under Late president Umaru Yaradu’a.

A presidential source has confirmed to LeadersNG that the president will sack both men over their indictment by the Special Panel of Inquiry. The source said the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed has had a meeting with the president on how to manage this information so it does not leak to the public before the sack.

The source said although there was pressure on the president by some of his close friends and traditional rulers not to sack the NSA and the Minister of Interior , the president has already made up his mind. - Leaders
