Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, has appointed the son of
former governor Danjuma Goje as Special Adviser and Managing Director
of Gombe Leasing Company.
Alhaji Ahmad Danjuma Goje, who is the eldest son of Senator Goje, was
yesterday sworn-in alongside five others at the government house.

Senator Goje, who is representing Gombe Central in the Senate has
been at loggerheads with Governor Dankwambo since 2011, especially after
handing over power to his successor.
The six other special advisers sworn-in alongside Danjuma Goje,
include Mr. Lewi Lasare, House of Assembly Matters;
Mrs. Dudu Mamman
Manuga, Director General, Gombe State Enterprises Development and
Promotion Agency and
Alhaji Bello Sulaiman, Chairman, Sport Commission.
Others are Alhaji Nasiru Haruna, General Manager,
Gombe State
Environmental Protection Agency (GOSEPA); Alhaji Jalo Ganga,
Managing
Director, Gombe State Investment and Property Development Company and
Alhaji Ahmed Damji, Chairman Board of Internal Revenue.
The governor urged them to work diligently and harmoniously with other public officers toward the development of the state.
