Janet Jackson shocked the world several months ago by announcing that — at 50 years old — she was finally pregnant with her first child with her hunky millionaire hubby, However, a source close to the family said that NO ONE was as surprised by the news as Janet's elderly parents – Joe and Katherine Jackson!
"Janet is super healthy and has been following her doctors orders religiously," a source told Radar. "She is working with a nutritionist and is not doing any crazy exercises. She is at the doctors constantly and they are considering having a medical nurse and a prenatal doctor on staff at their home."
According to the family friend, "Janet, Wissam and her entire family believe that this baby is a gift from God!"
"Janet told her sisters that she considers this to be divine intervention and are going to show this kid so much love."
As Radar reported, Jackson cancelled her "Unbreakable" tour right after undergoing throat surgery to remove a tumor."She really feels that this is Michael working from the other side," the insider added. "Of course she wants to have more children but her dream already came true by having just this one."
