Joanna Gosling was caught out earlier this week after she missed her cue during a live broadcast and was beamed to the nation tapping away at her phone
As the bulletin music plays she continues to look down, before realising she’s been caught out; quickly putting her phone to the side.
She then jumps straight into reading the news.
The short clip has been viewed online thousands of times, highlighting the issue of phones at work.
Joanna later took to Twitter herself to reveal that a “technical hitch” had meant she was back on air sooner than expected.
“Thanks for all your lovely comments about the blooper yesterday! Technical hitch meant I had no idea I was up next,” she wrote. (HRgrapevine)
