Seven final year students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka in Anambra State , has designed and built a mini bus using locally sourced materials. This was done at the University workshop.
The students are Callistus Ezeigwe, Victor Obinani, Ifeanyi Ezeanolue, Ogbu Ikenna, Fidelis Ominigbo, Nnamdi Nwobodo and Chinaza Okoro. The group known as Autozik Group is made up of six males and one female and they were supervised by the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr C.H Achebe.
It is high time our government start looking inwards for genius like this to help boost our economy and also create jobs. There is no doubt that we have talents in this country, all the youths need is an enabling environment .
