KYLIE JENNER CAUGHT OUT IN ALLEGED "SWEATSHOP" WORKING CONDITIONS

The youngest of the famed Kardashian/Jenner clan has been embroiled in a workplace conditions scandal surrounding her sell-out makeup line.
Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits have been a runaway success, selling out online in seconds after the reality TV personality documented herself personally filling pots at the factory on her Snapchat.
However, staff at Spatz Laboratories in California, USA, where the product is made have complained of poor pay, dangerous work conditions and “slave-like” labour on the company’s Indeed profile, according to The Daily Mail.
“The pay is very minimal for the amount of work that is requested with no benefits,” wrote one former employee who also described the factory as a “sweatshop”.
“It was a terrible work experience that I wish I do not have again,” wrote another, who added that it was “uncomfortable to work there. It was hard to interact with fellow employees as everyone worked individually."
Others described the facilities as “dirty” and “dangerous”, due to oily floors and one staff member reported inhaling the make-up particles had “made me cough and sick”.
Many of the complaints came from former employees, with the factory also producing cosmetics for other brands.
Products promoted by the Kardashian family have previously come under scrutiny, with claims in 2011 that several of their fashion lines were produced in sweat shop conditions in China. [HRG]
