The crisis in the Bayelsa state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, took another twist on Saturday, with the state executive of the party announcing the suspension of a former governor of the state, Chief Timipre Sylva from the party.
State chairman of the party, Timipa Tiwei Orunimighe and the secretary, Daniel Marlin announced the decision of the party in a statement made available to the media in Abuja. The reason for the suspension is yet unknown.
