The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct elections for the state house of assembly seats, House of Representatives and the house of Senatorial Districts on March 19.
The governor made this announcement on Wednesday , stating that this would enable workers in Public and private sector to participate fully in the election.
Banks and other private sector will remain closed.
Port Harcourt – Gov.
Nyesom Wike of Rivers, has declared Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March
18, as work-free days for the re-run legislative elections in the
state.
