It has been gathered that a mother and child, 16 people died in the Lekki building collapse.
Most of the people that died were waiting to collect their pay which has been delayed for three months.
the building located at Horizon 1, Lekki Gardens, was still under construction. sources said that the building of 30 was put up within four months.
Some Benin Republic citizens were among the people trapped in the collapsed building . One of the relatives of the affected artisan said that he got a call from his brother that he was trapped in a collapse building but that on getting there the security operatives did not allow him to search for his brother and going through the rescued bodies and persons, that his brother cannot be found.
