FUEL CRISIS SCARE ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Another fuel scarcity is approaching the nation as staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday, close down the exercises of the company across the nation over the unbundling exercise.
The staff, under the aegis of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), said that their opinion was not sought before choices of the unbundling activity were taken, thus, it is unsuitable to them.
A percentage of the workers who talked on the state of anonymous, scolded the Federal Government, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu and the administration of the NNPC for taking such decision which concerns and influence the eventual fate of the staff without due counsels. In Abuja, the staff were seen roaming around the head office of the NNPC, holding dialogs in little groups.
