Marafa had gloated that not even the Senate President, Bukola Saraki or any other person can suspend him from the senate in perspective of his late comments about the situation in the Upper Legislative Chambers of the National Assembly.
"No one, I repeat, no one in that Senate can suspend me over those comments I made in the said meeting, rather it is the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, that ought to be suspended by the Senate for flipping around things inside of the most recent eight months, from falsification of Standing Orders, to unlawfully expanding the quantity of Standing advisory groups in the Senate from 57 to 65, with chaperon infringement of positioning tenets in their sytheses."
