For some of us that seem to be in the dark regarding this story, I ,will summarise it.
The ugly drama, happened in August 2015 in one Local Government in Bayelsa where Ese was living with her parents. Yunusa a native of Kano abducted Ese, took her to Kano forcefully converted her to a Muslim and married her.

Ese's parents went in search of their daughter but their effort was negative. The Emir of Kano , Mallam Sanusi Lamido did not pay attention to their plea . The parents however learnt that their daughter was kept at the palace.

The parents who were left with no option had to report the matter to the Inspector General of Police to help them rescue their daughter .
